Meemeow Village- A guiding Angel

 

There is a world fair away from here, The world is called Harmony were piece and harmony rein. This world in full of vast and lush islands, one of which is Dream Isle, an island were dreams and nightmares reside. On the side of dreams lays a village that is surrounded by cherry blossom tree, and home to the Meemeows who are cat hybrids. 

So Let us meet the current Meemeows of the village. First of all we have Bertrand he is a werewolf cat he has grey and red fur and fierce red eyes to match and he is also the alpha of the village, he is kind hearted, loyal and always tries his best to lead the village. 

 Then there is Salem who is a pumpkin cat he has black fur and an orange jack o lantern body. Salem is known for his delicious pumpkin pies that he make with his home grown pumpkins. Up next is Frankie who is a zombie cat (yes you read correctly a zombie cat lol). Because he is undead he has green fur with patches and only one eye, but is still fierce hunter who can give Bertrand a run for his money. 

We also have Sugar who is the villages medium, Sugar has black fur with sugar skull and skeletal design.  She is neither dead or alive the Meemows say "she's not here or there". Because of this Sugar has powers to speak to the dead, which helps translating what Frankie says as he speak in moans and groans. 

Floss is one of the sweetest Meemeows...literally as she's a candy floss ( cotton candy) cat. Her fur is a swirly blend of blue, purple and pink her tail is even looks the candy floss stick! Floss and her brother Cinnamon love to make sweet treats for the whole village. 

Cinnamon is the local baker of the village he's in charge of everyones food rations. His favourite thing to bake is cinnamon rolls so much so his fur is golden brown and white. His back has a cinnamon roll pattern and his tuft of fur on his head that also resembles a cinnamon roll. He enjoys making treats with his sister Floss.

For the moment our current villager is Star the angel cat, she has blue and white fur with a star pattern along side a gold halo and wings. We'll get to know her as the story progresses...

On a brilliant sunny day Bertrand decided that it would be a good idea to go on a hunt,

Bertrand- Thank you all for coming to join me, it has come to my attention that we are running low on fish and meat in our food storage, and today would be an ideal day for a hunt.

Salem- But our crops are doing fine we can live on vegetables for a while, can't we?

Bertrand- *sigh* then we'd run out of our crops and then what, we are the villages main hunters it's our job to provide for the village.

Sugar- Bertrand is right the village relays on us to hunt and bring home food.

Frankie-Moooaan 

Sugar- Even Frankie agrees

Salem- ooh great..

After much deliberation the four cats headed out on their hunt, this normally takes them up to nightfall... unfortunately on this hunt they did not return, instead they were lost in the swamp forest which resides on the nightmare side of the isle. Normally the Meemeows avoid the nightmare side of Dream isle, unfortunately on this occasion Bertrand's party lost their way. 

Which left Floss and Cinnamon to run a whole village by them selves, of cause they tried to look for their friends but neither of them had any survival skills like the others. So the furthest they went was to a small fishing area that was in the villege, but they checked there everyday regardless. 

Cinnamon- Any luck today?

Floss- No but I got some fish for dinner, maybe we'll just keep trying.

Cinnamon- Oh that's good I'll check the fishing grounds tomorrow 

And checked he did but no luck this would carry on until a new villager arrived.

Floss was on her way to the fishing area and too her surprise there was someone there.

Floss- Oh my I didn't expect to find anyone here.

Star- Oh I'm sorry I got caught up in a storm and got lost.

Floss- Oh no please don't worry I'm Floss and you're in Meemeow village all Meemeows are welcome here.

Star- Wow that's great I can't believe I found this place oh I'm Star by the way.

Floss- Haha yeah you're sure lucky to have found our village, come with me and I'll show you around.

So Floss took Star to the village square and showed her around and introduced Star to Cinnamon.

Star- This village is very beautiful but I couldn't help but notice how quiet it is.

Floss- Yeah it used to be quite busy but we've had Meemeows leave and our friends haven't come back from their hunt and my brother and I don't know our way around to find them. So that's why we have been checking the fishing area everyday.

Star- Well I can fly well on days when it's not raining so I can do a sky patrol.

Cinnamon- That's a great idea whilst we look down here you can get a birds-eye view from up there.

With that Star became a member of the village, Floss and Cinnamon helped Star to build her own house. The used fallen cherry blossom trees for the walls and fallen blossoms for the roof. This was how most of the homes are built in the village. 

From then on after all three have done their chores they go off to look for Bertrand and the others. Everyday Star would fly higher and higher in the sky and Floss and  Cinnamon checked the fishing area.

After a horrendous storm the day before the weather had cleared up the sky was blue and there was no cloud in the sky. Star thought that today was perfect for flying so exited her home and stretched she then stretched out her golden wings and began to fly.

At first she thought this would be a normal day of no luck, but the air felt different, "Has the wind changed" she thought. Then suddenly she heard a howl which terrified her, but she remembered that Floss had said "Bertrand is a werewolf cat so he howls when he's nearby".  So Star took a deep breath and perched on a near by branch like a bird. Low and behold see saw a wolf that looked like a cat, a skeletal cat, a pumpkin bodied cat and a green cat.

"This must be them who else could it be" she thought so she called down to them,

Star- Hello there you must be the lost hunting party?

Bertrand- Um yes we are it's quite embarrassing.

Sugar- Well if you hadn't got your direction wrong we would not have ended up on the nightmare side of the Isle, you're a wolf after all!

Bertrand scrunched up his face but refused to bite plus it would't have done him much good anyway and Star resisted to laugh at the commotion down below. instead she said "the village is this way". With that Star guided them back.

Floss and Cinnamon couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Star flying and on foot was their beloved hunting party.

Floss- Eek I can't believe it you came back

Salem- We would never leave forever but I think 'ol Bertie needs a compass and a map haha.

Bertrand-Mm anyway were home now and thank you to all three of you for taking care of our home.

After their reunion Bertrand took Star to the side,

Star- Umm is everything ok?

Bertrand - Yes of cause there's nothing to worry about, as the alpha I just wanted to welcome you personally to the village and to say I know being the only flyer at the moment must be tiring but we appreciate it.

Star- Wow thank you but if you don't mind me asking, did the village have other flyers?

Bertrand- *sigh* yes we had two flyers siblings Suki and Nether, they left suddenly because Nether wanted to explore the nightmare side so Suki went with him. They're dragons so nightmares don't really scare them.

Star- Their dragon cats!

Bertrand- Yeah but Suki is lovely you'd like her she's black with green wings her brother on the other hand is a opposite to you hence his name he's red with black horns and wings.

Star- Yeah I've heard of demon Meemeows but never have I met one.

Bertrand- Perhaps one day you will. Oh can you keep a secret?

Star- Yes of cause I can

Bertrand- Great, now an alpha is not meant hide things from his pride pack, but the only reason I wanted to go into nightmare territory is because I was hoping to find Suki and Nether, and if Sugar found out she'd skin me alive.

Star- Aw it's ok I'm sure they'll come back soon like you guys did.

Bertrand- Thanks I hope so.

With that Both Star and Bertrand returned to the celebrations. The village was more lively now and filled with laughter and as for Bertrand's hunting party they never figured out why they got lost and Sugar didn't skin Bertrand alive.
